POUGHKEEPSIE, NEW YORK – TUESDAY, JUNE 15, 2021 – The Dutchess County Young Democrats launched their highly anticipated new website on Monday, June 14, 2021, just in time for Primary Elections. The website places an emphasis on accessibility, offering an easy-to-use accessibility tool for those who with visual or auditory impairments.
The focus of the new website is to provide young democrats in Dutchess County the ability to learn about the organization and to see which candidates are ready and willing to fight for the ideals and causes that matter most to them. Modernizing the organization’s website is only one part of a greater effort to breathe new life into the future of the Democratic party in the county.
“We are very proud to announce the launch of our new, modernized website!
Over the past 6 months, we as an organization have seen growth that shows the true passion younger people have in the way government works. This user-friendly and easily accessible site is a compliment to that growth. It not only provides all with our values, but includes links and other helpful information to inform the public.
This is the first of many achievements that we hope will help us to turn Dutchess Blue!”
– Ethan Pine, President of the Dutchess County Young Democrats.
The organization hopes that this new digital platform will bring together past, present, and future Democrats in Dutchess County to fulfill its mission of activism, empowerment, and progression. As a volunteer-run organization, the Dutchess County Young Democrats want to thank newly appointed Communications Director, Andrew Mendez-Spera, for spearheading this initiative.
